Donate to the Aiken SPCA

Thanks to the kids of Gregg Park for donating some much-needed supplies!

The Aiken SPCA has been caring for homeless dogs and cats for more than 75 years. We are a private, 501(c)3 non-profit organization, and do not receive government funding, or any funding from national humane organizations.

To continue our important, life-saving work, we rely solely on sales from our two Treasure Chest locations, support from businesses in our community, and from special people like you.

Your generous donation is a gift of life and opportunity for the little ones in our care. It is so easy to help:

  • $10 provides a rabies vaccination
  • $15 provides food for two animals for one week
  • $100 provides total care for one dog for one month.

Where Do My Monetary Donations Go?

Every donation we receive goes to help the many animals in our care, and to support the programs we provide to the community. Rest assured that when you donate to the Aiken SPCA, your generous gift goes to one or more of these much-needed programs:

  • General Animal Care — Food, vaccinations, toys, a warm and clean place to sleep. You provide the materials, we provide the TLC. Donations keep the shelter going from day to day so we can continue to offer shelter and humane care for homeless dogs, cats, and other animals.
  • Low-Cost Spay and Neuter — Help low-income families provide this important health service for their pets. This program not only assists families who love their pets, it also directly reduces pet overpopulation in our community. Read more about our spay/neuter services.
  • Hope’s Fund for Special Medical Needs — Hope is a Labrador Retriever mix who remarkably survived severe abuse and neglect, and inspired us to find a way to help animals with special medical needs. This medical fund supports treatment for heartworm disease, broken bones, mange, and other conditions we cannot treat within our normal medical budget or in our own clinic. X-rays, surgeries, laboratory diagnostics, and heartworm treatment must all be done off-site, and can be quite expensive. But we believe the dogs and cats with these special needs deserve a chance at adoption just like everyone else, and Hope’s Fund gives them that chance.
  • New Shelter — The main shelter building is 29 years old and in need of updating and expansion. One set of kennels still in use is over 60 years old. We’ve broken ground for the new shelter, and many naming opportunities are still available. Help us build a wonderful new place for the animals in our care!

Thank you for your support. Your gift will help animals right here in the CSRA!
