Reindog Romp a Great Success!

Our first-ever Reindog Romp and Pet Fair held at Odell Weeks on Saturday, December 10, 2011, was a great success! Of course, the event would not have been possible without the help of many dedicated Aiken SPCA volunteers and staff members.

We had approximately 100 dogs, along with their human companions, register for the dog walk. In addition, we had many vendors and activities available for families to enjoy, as well as a bake sale and Pet Fair (held in conjunction with the City of Aiken). Several pets were vaccinated and/or microchipped.

Also, special thanks to all of our sponsors and donors, and to the City of Aiken Parks, Recreation & Tourism Department! To all of those volunteers who helped in some way with Reindog Romp, you may pick up a free limited-edition event T-shirt at the SPCA while supplies last.

If you have any suggestions or ideas on how to improve the event for next year, please contact Angela Boyette via our contact form, or call her at (706) 306-9106.
Thanks again for all of your hard work for the Aiken SPCA. Happy holidays to you and best wishes for a wonderful 2012!
